Allison Smith joined Science Club for Girls in the summer of 2011 as the Volunteer Program Manager. Allison is a graduate of Franklin Pierce College where she obtained her bachelor of arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy. Since graduating in 2007, she has continued her passion of community service and growing her community by joining AmeriCorps where she became the Senior Ambassador of Mentoring and Social Media and Outreach Associate for Mass Mentoring in Boston and obtained her graduate certificate in Non-Profit Leadership Development from Cambridge College. After her two years were completed, she worked at FIRST as the Mentor Coach Program Coordinator in the Volunteer Department.

Allison enjoys hiking in the White Mountains and enjoying Boston's alternative music scene. She is an active mentor and advisor for the NH Rainbow Girls and part of the Franklin Pierce Alumni Association. Along with these activities she maintains her 3.9 GPA while attending graduate school at Northeastern University studying for her masters in Higher Education Administration with a graduate certificate in Women and Gender Studies.
