Meghna joined Science Club for Girls as the High School Programs Coordinator / Massachusetts Promise Fellow (AmeriCorps) in August 2011. She is working to expand and enhance high school programs at SCFG.
Meghna received her BSc. from McGill University, in Montreal, where she studied Wildlife Biology and English Literature. As a part of her undergraduate studies, Meghna completed a senior thesis regarding the reproductive biology of captive American Kestrels. She also spent two years as a Features editor for The McGill TribuneŅa university newspaper.
Meghna is passionate about the environment and has worked with environmentally focused NGO's. Most recently, she was a Development and Communications intern at Alternatives for Community and Environment (ACE) in Roxbury, MA. Last summer as a Development intern at an NGO in India Meghna worked with the local community to implement the first recycling system in the area.
Meghna grew up in Michigan and Massachusetts. Outside of the office you'll often find her reading between library stacks, hiking with her black lab Onyx, or jumping into the pool.
