Kareen Wilkinson, Program Manager

Kareen joined Science Club for Girls in 2007. She served two years as an AmeriCorps Member with City Year in Boston and two years as a staff member, where she directed the Young Heroes Program, a Saturday service learning, leadership development program for middle school youth. Her team was recognized as the best Young Heroes Program in the nation by City Year in 2006-07 at its national convention.

Kareen comes from a very musical family and has played the viola since the age of 8. She was a proud member of the Garfield High School Symphony Orchestra in Seattle, Washington and currently plays with the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra.

Her passions are education, science, and social justice.
