Site Information

Science Club for Girls began at the King Open School in 1994. King Open parents, with the endless support of the King Open Administration and Staff, initiated this innovative and successful after school mentoring program. When the King Open School changed school locations, Science Club for Girls followed. Merging with the Harrington School, the new King Open School encompasses a diverse and multi-cultural student population. Today, we offer free, after school science clubs to King Open girls every Tuesday.

Professionals, graduate and undergraduate students interested in becoming a mentor-scientist at our Cambridge locations can send an email to volunteer@scienceclubforgirls.org.
