The Catalyst Awards spotlight outstanding leadership, both individual and institutional, pivotal in advancing SCFG's mission for a more fully diverse, equitable, and dynamic STEM ecosystem. This year holds special significance as we mark our 30th anniversary - three decades of supporting young minds, breaking down barriers, and fostering familiarity with STEM in diverse, underrepresented communities. Our 2024 Catalyst Awardees are Dr. Elenoe Crew Smith of Vertex, part of the groundbreaking Sickle Cell therapy program, and Dr. Jo Viney of Seismic Therapeutic, biotech founder and industry leader. Supporting this event is a great opportunity to make your impact on the future of STEM.
Science Club for Girls (SCFG) fosters excitement, confidence, and literacy in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) for girls and gender-expansive youth from underrepresented communities by providing free, experiential programs and by maximizing meaningful interactions with women-in-STEM mentors.
