Virtual Science Clubs
After great success with Virtual Clubs this school year, SCFG is planning to run dual-mode programs, both in-person and virtual. This fall, clubs will focus on ‘The Human Body’ curriculum and our young scientists will explore the different organ systems and how they work together. Stay tuned over the next couple of months for more information about our upcoming clubs and club registration!
Our programs are designed as “clubs” to reinforce collaboration and teamwork, as these methods have been shown to greatly enhance girls’ learning. To help build both skills and confidence, curriculum and club structures are designed to be inquiry-driven — activities are hands on, rather than demonstration style — with opportunities to experiment, to fail in safe and supportive settings, and to be resourceful and persistent. Science Club for Girls programs are organized by age/grade level.
Accessibility: Science Club for Girls has made efforts to ensure our programs are a positive and inclusive environment to individuals with disabilities. If you find that our programs are not accessible to your child, please contact us to discuss accommodations.
