Current Openings:
Volunteer Manager: Science Club for Girls is looking for a full-time Volunteer Manager. The Volunteer Manager is responsible for executing a strategy of volunteer engagement and building a vibrant community of volunteers to support the growth of our organization. This hybrid position includes responsibilities such as Recruiting a diverse population of volunteers that reflects the communities SCFG serves, coordinating all volunteer recruitment efforts through outreach to universities, professional societies, community organizations and corporations, and overseeing and implementing volunteer recruitment and retention strategies. This is a full-time position.

Curriculum and Evaluation Manager: The Curriculum and Evaluation Manager will join our team and manage the development and revision of semester long, hands-on STEM curricula for use in virtual and in-person after-school science clubs for grades K-8. Additionally, the Manager will be responsible for creating curricula for our two vacation weeks and summer vacation programming. The Manager will also serve as a liaison between the Communications and Development Team and the Program Team to coordinate the evaluation of our programs through end-of-semester surveys. Duties take place at our SCFG office in Cambridge and remotely. This is a full-time position.

SCFGLive! Producer: The SCFGLive! Producer will produce our television program, SCFGLive!, geared towards audiences in grades K-5, particularly girls and gender-expansive youth from underrepresented communities, which is broadcasted on Facebook, YouTube, Comcast Xfinity and other local network stations. SCFGLive!’s seventh season is set to premiere in the Fall with 15-30-minute-long episodes airing twice a month. The SCFGLive! Producer will lead a team of staff and volunteers in script writing, video recording, video editing, and media uploading. The SCFGLive! Producer will also work alongside the Communications Team to promote episodes via social media channels and newsletter postings. Duties take place at SCFG offices, out in the community and remotely. This is a full-time position.
