Virtual Spring Science Clubs
Our VIRTUAL spring programming is here!
This spring, 250 girls in grades K-12 will focus on the physical characteristics of our home—Earth. Students will learn about what comprises the Earth, essential processes, how things survive and grow, and most importantly, our impact on the earth and how we can protect our Earth.
Programming will take place over ZOOM once a week, over an 8-week semester. Programming is FREE for all participants. Activities are hands-on and all materials were provided and distributed at the start of the semester. Participants will need access to a computer (or device) with internet access.
Virtual Science Clubs are grouped by age for girls and those who identify with girlhood in grades K-8.
Clubs are co-led and taught by Junior Mentors in grades 8-12, and by adult volunteer mentors who study and work in STEM fields.
Participants may choose to attend one of the three weekly meeting times:
Tuesdays from 3:30 - 4:30 pm
Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:30 pm OR
Saturdays from 10:30 - 11:30 am
Weekday clubs will begin the week of February 23 and Saturday clubs will begin on February 27.
