Sedna Darkey

With over a decade of experience in the environmental and life sciences industries, Sedna Darkey is dedicated to advancing product excellence, patient safety, and scientific integrity. Her career spans analytical development, quality control, and quality assurance. She currently serves as a Lead in Quality Control Technical Services, Stability at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, where she oversees commercial stability programs to ensure medicines remain safe, effective, and of the highest quality throughout their shelf life. Her work bridges analytical science, quality, and regulatory compliance to support the consistent and reliable delivery of innovative therapies to patients.

Beyond her professional role, Sedna is passionate about STEM outreach and mentorship. Through educational and professional development initiatives, she works to expand access to STEM opportunities and cultivate the next generation of scientific leaders. Her dedication to service is grounded in the impact of the mentors, advocates, and programs that helped shape her own path into STEM. She serves on the University of Hartford Alumni Council, fostering meaningful engagement between alumni and current students, and also serves as a member of the ISPE EDEI Committee. In addition, she is an ambassador for Science Club for Girls’ 4% Campaign, advocating for greater diversity in STEM fields.

Sedna looks forward to contributing to the HAB Board and advancing the mission and continued growth of Science Club for Girls.
