This fall, we wrapped up another exciting semester of free Science Clubs! Across in-person and virtual clubs, more than 960 participants dove headfirst into our Human Body Curriculum, exploring how the systems inside our bodies work together to keep us healthy, strong, and moving.Â

To support this hands-on learning, our team packed and distributed an incredible 6,960 STEM curriculum kits for the Fall Clubs, ensuring that every participant had the tools they needed to fully engage in the experiments and activities throughout the semester.
The Human Body curriculum was designed to spark curiosity about biology while intentionally weaving in math as a practical, approachable tool. Throughout the semester, students practiced measuring, scaling, counting, and comparing – connecting math to real-life topics like health, movement, and bodily systems. By integrating math into science and storytelling, Science Clubs helped participants see math as something they use, not something to fear.Â

Clubs kicked off with an Introduction to the Human Body, where participants learned about body systems, DNA, genes, and genetic traits celebrating what makes each of us unique. From there, each session focused on a different system, building knowledge week by week. We explained and conducted various experiments that allowed students to learn more about the Nervous System, Circulatory System, Respiratory System, Digestive System, Skeletal System, and Immune System.Â
Beyond learning anatomy, our curriculum introduced girls to a wide range of medical and health-related careers, showing the different paths science and math can take them on. This exposure helps broaden participants’ visions of their futures and reinforces that everyone can participate in STEM.Â

We are deeply grateful to our Mentors, Junior Mentors, staff, packing partners, collaborating schools, families, caregivers, funders, and supporters who made Fall 2025 Science Clubs possible. Your commitment helps ensure that girls and gender-expansive youth have access to engaging, affirming STEM experiences semester after semester in a supportive, joyful space where girls can ask questions, try new things, and grow their confidence alongside peers and Mentors who believe in them.
