Caroline Chea (she/her)

Inventory & Operations Coordinator

Caroline grew up in the forested suburbs of Southern New Hampshire. She became curious about maps and urban design through the Educational Studies Programs at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Urban Planning at MIT. Caroline enjoys supporting community programming from behind the scenes, having previously managed a series of health & wellness workshops and an anime & manga library. Before SCFG, she worked at MIT Libraries and Boston Public Libraries. Caroline is dedicated to streamlining organization operations and engaging with local communities.

I’m inspired by Katharine Dexter McCormick! She was a scientist, suffragist, and philanthropist who funded major research on mental health and contraception. In the 1960s, she funded an all-women dorm (which became my undergraduate dorm!), boosting women enrollment at MIT.
