The Learning Continues with SCFG at Home

With critical measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including school and university closures, Science Club for Girls has moved our operations online for the remainder of the spring semester. We are incredibly grateful to all of our mentors, junior mentors, partnering schools and sites, and to the girls and families who participate in our clubs. While we'll miss seeing you in person each week, we're looking forward to connecting with you virtually and can't wait to resume clubs in the fall! SCFG at Home! We're encouraging all our club participants to continue exploring Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics at home. We've compiled a list of hands-on activities, and Every Monday, we will highlight one activity on our Facebook Page as the "Activity of the week." We welcome anyone—not just our club participants!—to try out an experiment and post on social media with the hashtag # SCFGatHome. Click here to learn more.

Keeping our Community Connected In an effort to stay connected, our staff, Mentors, Junior Mentors, and STEMinistas will be interacting with each other and their Science Club participants via emails, calls, recorded and live videos, and Zoom gatherings and seminars. Stay tuned for more updates on how the Science Club for Girls community is connecting, inspiring, and supporting each other as we navigate these challenging times.
